Samsung Pay is now working with ATM machines operated by five banks across the nation. Samsung pay will also support ATM deposits.
Users of the Samsung Pay app, Samsung Electronics’ mobile payment solution, can easily use Samsung Pay ATM services at nearly 40,000 ATMs installed at 10,000 branches of Woori Bank, KB Kookmin Bank, Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK), NH Nonghyup Bank and Shinhan Bank. All they have to do is just place their phones on the machine reader to complete the transaction.
With more banks accepting Samsung Pay, Samsung Pay, which has thus far allowed users to only withdraw money from ATMs, will enhance user convenience by enabling making ATM deposits.
Users can use Samsung Pay ATM services after entering their bank account information and registering their fingerprint and setting up a back up password and Samsung PIN.
Meanwhile, the South Korean tech giant is planning to expand Samsung Pay’s debit card services so as to let users shop nearly anywhere with their debit cards after adding their bank account information to the Samsung Pay app.
