The action-packed ad for the LG G5 smartphone, World of Play, is catching on with views. It already racked up nearly 36 million views on social media sites such as Facebook, Google Play, Instagram and YouTube since March 23.
Throughout the minute-long spot, multiple versions of Jason Statham show viewers how to enjoy the G5 and Friends in numerous “challenging” situations. If viewers look closely enough, 198 actors who look like Jason Statham appear in the commercial.
So how did LG create such an enjoyable commercial
LG revealed some of details behind the filming of the commercial which released on YouTube.
The Youtube title is ‘LG G5: TV Commercial – Behind the Scenes with Jason Statham’ and two-minute long which shows the making of various styles of Jason Statham’s facial masks.
In order to create many Jason Statham’s masks, creating team used 120 cameras to form a full 360-degree image.
