On Monday, December 14th, at 12:30 Choi Kyung-hwan, the minister of knowledge economy, held the "Seoul Japan Club luncheon meeting" at the Mapo Garden Hotel Mugunghwa Hall. There, he listened to suggestions made in relation to corporate activities of Japanese companies residing in Korea, and encouraged Japanese companies with word about an increase in investment funds. The meeting was attended by 40 CEOs and officers including Awaya Tsutomu, Chairman of the Soul Japan Club and President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Corporation Korea; Oike Atsuyuki, Director of the First International Economic Affairs Division of the Japanese Embassy; Nagai Masanari, President of Mitsui & company Korea; Yoshioka Toshiro, Seoul Branch Manager of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation; and Choong Young-ahn, Foreign Investment Ombudsman to the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
