The KOTRA CEO, Cho Hwan-eik, is giving his book, “Jump out of Korea to Survive”, to Yang Yong-eun

The winner of the PGA Championship this year, Yang Yong-eun, promised to work with KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) to promote expansion of Korean exports.

On December 17, Yang Yong-eun visited KOTRA headquarters in Yeom-gok dong, Seoul to meet Cho Hwan-eik, KOTRA CEO, and said “Please use my image in marketing to promote expansion of Korean exports”. KOTRA asked Yang Yong-eun, who had spread his reputation by winning a PGA Championship, to use his image in marketing Korean products abroad. The golfer readily accepted the offer and visited KOTRA.

The CEO, Cho Hwan-eik, said “I appreciate Mr.Yang’s unconditional help on expanding Korean exports and plan to actively use his image to market Korean products abroad.” Yang Yong-eun also appreciated the opportunity to serve his own country by using his own image and explained that, “Because KOTRA is a state agency; I can readily help without any condition.”

From next year on, KOTRA plans to invite Yang Yong-eun to events abroad and use his image with various marketing strategies.
