On December 28, in a green report, KOTRA introduced 19 green products and 11 countries took a big notice about these eco-friendly products and technologies. KOTRA analyzed that the key to success in green products and were analysis of exact market trend, proper targeting, remarkable technology and thorough localization.
KOTRA mentioned three remarkable companies that succeeded by trend analysis and proper targeting such as Loofen which makes food waste disposal units, ST Wide Co., that makes LEDs and CT&T which is a specialist in electric vehicle industry. Loofen concluded the contract on its green products which was about US$270,000 at an environment exhibition held in Birmingham, United Kingdom and ST Wide Co. supplied LED street lights which was about US$350,000 to improve the lighting infrastructure in Tokyo. In addition to, CT&T invading the niche market of California, United States because the car strength lies in short distances and low speed. The car is being used for parking control by the California Police Department.
In terms of remarkable technology KOTRA introduced two companies such as Inca Solution Co. and Kyung Dong Navien. A multi-socket extension cord of Inca Solution Co. can control electricity perfectly when connected devices like monitor and scanner are not in use, Kyung Dong Navien is also getting popularity using condensing technology product which is the instant water heater that can reach 98.8 percent of thermal efficiency.
SongWoo Co., KNTech Co. and CEV Global Co. were also introduced in KOTRA's green report for a terrific product in localizing the overseas market. Chief official of KOTRA, Han Sun-hee said, "Global market is quickly moving toward green and eco-friendly products. We should occupy a market first through more aggressive green marketing."
