On January 4, 2010, the CEO Choi, See-joong of Korea Communications Commission (KCC) held the opening ceremony for 2010 at 11:30 a.m. A public official was awarded for his excellence by KCC.

The convergence politic section chief of KCC, Seo Byoung-jo was awarded a Red Stripes Order of Service Merit for his excellent performance that was for early rising fixation of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and the division chief of communication Jun Sung-bae was awarded a Service Merit Medal for his success in Mobile telephone fee reduction policy.

The comptroller of KCC, Lee Tae-hee, the division chief of broadcasting channel policy, Kim Young-kwan and the secretary of digital broadcasting policy division, Song Sang-hoon was awarded the Presidential Award.

The Prime Minister's Citation award was given to the finance administrative official, Kim Min-pyo, the politic generalization administrative official, Park Min-ha, the investigation planning generalization administrative official, Jung Jae-hoon and the radio regulation administrative official, Kim Hyo-joon.
