Just a few weeks ago, Apple released it's new iPhone 4 within the smartphone market. To compete with this new smartphone, Samsung announced their plans to release their newest smartphone through the carrier SK Telecom. On June 21, 2010, SK Telecom announced that they will launch the new Samsung Galaxy S on June 25, 2010. This smartphone will be equipped with Google's Android OS. This new Galaxy S smartphone will show cutting edge technology that was made by Samsung, SK Telecom and Google.
The Galaxy S is equipped with a high-speed 1 Ghz processor and a 512 MB Ram. It features a 4.0 inch AMOLED screen and a 5 million pixel camera. Other features include access to DMB and has 16 gigabytes of memory storage. This touch-screen device also allows video calls and access to various applications including Gmail, Youtube and the Android market.
The price for this smartphone starts at KRW 295,000 with a 2 year contract and that price could decrease through other plans and services. Samsung's Galaxy S made it's debut in Europe a few weeks ago.
