Samchuly Announces Korea's First Electric Bike

SEOUL -- Samchuly Co., a South Korean bike maker, said Tuesday that it has developed the country's first electricity-powered bicycle to enhance its global competitiveness. Korea is testing a grid for electrical cars already.
The company said its new "Greenity" model was built by making full use of the country's competitiveness in electric batteries, information technology and industrial manufacturing capabilities.
Samchuly have received multiple industry awards for superiority in design and international standards certification.
