Ssangyong's Rexton

Ssangyong's Rexton is still just as much as gas guzzler as any other SUV

SsangYong Motor Company unveiled the concept model for the C200 that is scheduled for release within the year. The C200 is a Compact Urban-styling Vehicle (CUV) and the company's milestone in its mid-long term strategy. Two models are exhibited at the motor show this year: the ECO with its eco-friendly hybrid system and the AERO with its air of reined-in urban sensitivity. The C200 is based on the idea of the All New Platformthe first CUV model from SYMC with a monocoque body and a brand new eco-friendly engine, and adopts 6-speed automatic transmission with the reliability of a power house, the best fuel economy in its class, and the lowest CO2 emissions, making it a classic example of a green CUV. “This show is a pleasant opportunity to show off our strong will to bounce back. Both the debut of the C200 and the development of Diesel Hybrid Technology mark a new milestone for SsangYong in our drive towards a brighter future. I hope the world will witness our efforts and encourage us on our way to success,” said Lee Yooil, the co-receiver. Their 1,500 square meter booth shows five themes: SUV Zone, Luxury Sedan Zone, Concept Car Zone, Hybrid Car Simulation Zone, and the Chairman W Harman- Kardon Audio Experience.
