The Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) plans to build a "mobile special district," called a Mobile Paradise, this year, where people will be able to enjoy seamless service from the world's latest wireless technologies. The ministry revealed the ambitious plan on Feb. 8, dubbed the M1 (Mobile No. 1) project, as part of its annual business plan for 2006. It will also actively push for u-IT839 strategy in earnest this year to achieve 576 trillion won ($587 billion) in production and 26.6 trillion won ($271 billion) in value added until 2010.
