Gyeonggi province is  a perfect getaway site for city slickers, a historic site for many students, and a meditating ground for philosophers and believers. 2006 Global Costume Festival Every country has their own traditional dress. Especially beautiful is the Korean traditional costume called Hanbok. It is famous all around the world. Even though many Koreans of the younger generation call it a fossil style of uncomfortable dress, the majority of foreign people value it highly. To break this prejudice and show the Korean traditional costume's spirit, the 2006 Global Costume Festival will be held on November 12 at the Grand Hilton Seoul Hotel. This festival has been held annually since 2001.
