Woori Bank announced on Oct. 6 that it was selected in two categories: "Best Cash Management Bank in South Korea" and "Best Payments Bank in South Korea" in the "Transaction Finance Awards 2020" organized by the global financial magazine "Asian Banker."
This marks the 10th consecutive year that Woori Bank has won the Asian Banker magazine Transactions Awards since 2011. In particular, it has been named the "Best Fund Management Bank of Korea" for eight consecutive years since 2013 in the fund management sector.
Asian Banker said Woori Bank is achieving quantitative and qualitative growth through upgrading non-face-to-face overseas remittance services such as providing efficient financial services using some 450 global networks, and enhancing customer satisfaction through customized fund management services.
"We have been selected as the 'best money management bank' by Asian Banker for eight consecutive years, and it is an opportunity to confirm once again that we are the strongest company in corporate fund management services," a bank official said. "With this award, not only in Southeast Asia, but also in financial markets such as Europe and the Americas, which are major global markets, our banks will enhance its global status."
