JVM's flagship product "New Slide Premier," which combines drug classification, packaging and inspection functions, has successfully settled in a pharmaceutical factory-type pharmacy in Europe and Norway.
JVM, a subsidiary of Hanmi Science, is an innovative company that has secured 70% of shares in overseas markets for automated pouch-type medicine preparation.
The company made an announcement on Oct. 7 that it has confirmed various advantages, including additional manpower savings, as a result of the introduction and operation of NSP by the N medicine preparing factory pharmacy, a subsidiary of Europe and Norway, which was recently established by the U.S. largest Drug Wholesaler.
JVM explained that most overseas factory-type pharmacies are mass dispensing and shipping the received prescription drugs to various parts of the country, which is expected to introduce additional NSP that can greatly increase work efficiency.
"The NSP, which can run one-stop from drug classification to packaging and inspection, is successfully settling in the European market," JVM said. "In the future, we will expand our exports to various countries such as Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong as well as to spread to other factory-type pharmacies in Europe."
NSP, which was launched this time, is JVM's flagship product that combines ATDPS, an existing electronic drug classification and packaging system, and VIZEN, an automatic packaging inspection system.
NSP is equipped with the latest technology (ARDTM, Automatic Re-dispensing) that automatically re-dispense drugs as soon as they are detected.
"The NSP, which has fully implemented the latest automatic re-dispensing technology, can greatly reduce the work of pharmacists who have to redo the wrong preparation, and greatly increase efficiency," said Kim Sun-kyung, vice president of JVM. "We expect this entry to be an important opportunity for JVM to explore and expand its global market."
