KB Kookmin Bank was selected as the "Best Trade Finance Bank in South Korea" for the ninth consecutive year at the Transaction Finance Awards 2020 organized by the Asian Banker, a global financial media outlet.
The Asian Banker was founded in 1996 and is an expert in providing financial industry-related research and consulting services in Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.

Kookmin Bank is supporting import and export companies to automate and digitize their trade operations through the "KB One Trade" service. In addition, it was highly praised for actively promoting various services for import and export companies, including the operation of counseling desks and holding seminars, through a marketing organization composed of the nation's top export and import experts.
"We are focusing our capabilities on developing better products and services to become a growing bank with exporting companies," a KB Kookmin Bank official said. "In particular, we will take the lead in providing financial support for import and export companies in response to the government's policy to support smaller import and export companies in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis."
Meanwhile, Kookmin Bank signed a business agreement with the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE) on Oct. 15 to support financial transaction limits, interest rates and commission rates of small and medium-sized exporters and importers.
