There is a company that dreams of a second Netflix and YouTube.

It is “Monster Guide,” a company that integrates IT and media outside of the existing format.

Hyun-kyung Oh, CEO of Monster Guide said, "We want to open a new world in the video industry like Netflix and YouTube, which created a new format by combining artificial intelligence and video."

The app development team is developing AR(Augmented Reality) named "Movie in Case" that allows visitors to walk outdoors and experience movie content.

The game development team is developing interactive storytelling genre games, while the video team is producing movies, web dramas, promotional videos, and YouTube videos.

“I have been fond of movies since I was in school, and won awards for making my own movies."

"In the meantime, I came up with a movie platform where I could go outdoors and see augmented reality as if I was enjoying a game, and I planned a 'movie in case' item where viewers would pay to watch the next episode."

In fact, Oh directed the documentary "Dragking Azangman" when he was a graduate student and won the top prize at the Seoul International Short Film Festival. He later made his debut as a film director after receiving a formal invitation to the Brussels International Film Festival in Belgium.

Monster Guide is rapidly growing from 4 million won in sales in 2018 to 100 million won this year.

She is now working on a video with Yeongdeungpo-gu Office, Songpa-gu Office, Dongdaemun-gu Office, and Korea District Heating Corporation.

In addition, she was selected as a “preliminary tourism venture” by the Korea Tourism Organization and won the first prize in the Sungshin Women's University Startup Competition and the first prize in the Seodaemun-gu Startup Competition

CEO Oh said, “We are expecting stable sales in the video field through bidding from the Public Procurement Service from next year.”

"We will continue to develop apps based on the launch of apps early next year."

Monster Guide's goal is to create a company worth 10 billion won in five years.

“First of all, the outlook for the overseas augmented reality market is very good. The average annual growth rate of the market for three years is growing rapidly, reaching 66%. and the mobile augmented reality market we are working on has the largest port and the highest growth rate."

“First, the goal is to grow five times each year. We can make 500 million won next year, 2.5 billion won in the next year, and 10 billion won in five years."

“As the augmented reality market is very bright, we will do our best to achieve the goal of 10 billion won,” said Oh.
