Choco Entertainment CEO Kim Ji-woong leads the discovery of next-generation K-pop artists

'Choco Academy', which runs an education program for fostering professional artists to discover next-generation K-pop artists.

Choco Academy's Professional Division Program is establishing a linkage education system that discovers and trains domestic and foreign talents, headed by the US and Singapore.

Choco Academy's unique aim is to provide a wider range of educational programs that have been limited to large entertainment companies so far.

Choco Entertainment CEO Kim Ji-woong said, “Choco Academy has an optimized system for the global market.”

“I'd like to deliver a resonant message with high-quality music.”

He emphasized that “talented people are gathering to create international quality, and individual personality is prioritized over trends.”

The distinction only Choco Academy has is that it focuses on fostering talent that can promote Korea, not simply on the agency business for kids and teenagers.

In addition, trainees who have both hard work and personality can join Choco Entertainment and receive more professional education.

"In line with the changing music industry, we aim for efficient and technologically advanced education”

Looking at the system that the Choco Academy boasts, there is a simple lesson method through discussions with producers and artists, not theoretical theory and concept learning.

In addition, it is operating music source and production support for labels in the US, China, and Japan as well as in Korea.

In recognition of the curriculum, Choco Academy was also selected as "Y&Archer 2020 Y&Navigator Accelerator Operation Program" by the Korea Tourism Organization this year.

It received support such as customized mentoring, investment linkage, and Y&LAB (Market Realization Test).

"We will move forward further to avoid uniform training and foster talented people who can be competitive on the global stage," Kim said.
