With the advent of the untact(new buzz word in Korea referring to the combination of prefix 'un' and the word 'contact') era with COVID-19, the “Meeting Technology Pastbee” introduced by Pastbee Korea is in the spotlight.

Pastbee Korea CEO Hyung-il Jeon explained, “Pastbee is an artificial intelligence that analyzes location information and big data, and is a meeting technology that improves the satisfaction and efficiency of events by utilizing the location information of users at events such as MICE, concerts, and exhibitions.”

Launched in August, Pastbee is equipped with customized non-face-to-face safety management, social distancing, and automatic access control for the prevention of epidemics, it can more quickly and accurately select close contacts in case of problems.

In addition, the administrator can analyze the information of interest and activity patterns for each participant according to the time period, thereby helping to reduce costs and establish an operation strategy.

CEO Jeon said, “We plan to provide a service of 'Pastbee' as an integrated platform that is used for the planning stage of MICE, concerts, exhibitions, events to operation, and follow-up management.”

He then emphasized, "We are supporting users to form social networks by analyzing common interests of users, and providing services that enhance satisfaction by recommending related services based on interest information."

Pastbee Korea was selected as the “2020 Y&Navigator Accelerator Operation Program” organized by the Korea Tourism Organization this year and received support from customized mentoring, investment linkage, and Y&LAB (Market Demonstration Test).

Based on this, Pastbee Korea also participated in the '2019 World Smart City Expo (WSCE 2019),' the largest smart city international conference in Asia-Pacific in November.

CEO Jeon said, "Pastbee has technology that puts safety first and connects people with people, such as managing movement lines for two weeks until the day of the event."

“We aim to support micropayments in the venue, food market, accommodation payment, and check-in through the development of a non-face-to-face payment system in the future.”

Pastbee is showing steady growth targeting domestic and overseas smart cities and global B2B2G(Business to Business to Consumer) services.

In particular, sales are generated through continuous exchanges with Aalto University in Finland and Korea University.

"Pastbee is a useful solution for domestic and foreign companies, governments, and institutions."
