Hyundai Engineering & Construction (Hyundai E&C) announced on Dec. 17 that it has won an order for the "TSE Storage Facility Installation Project" worth 252.6 billion won and the "Fit-Out (Design & Build) work of a specialized care hospital worth 98.2 billion won.
Hyundai E&C has received a letter of award (LOA) for the installation of TSE storage facilities worth 252.6 billion won ordered by the Public Works Agency, the largest ordering company in Qatar's construction sector.
TSE Storage Facility Installation is a project to build a 22.5 Mil m3 reservoir and other auxiliary facilities for stable landscaping/farm water supply during the summer season in Al Rakhiya, about 50 kilometers southwest of Doha, Qatar.
The construction period is 35 months, with the goal of completion in November 2023 after construction in December.
It also received the LOA (Letter of Award) for the Fit-Out (Design & Build) project of a professional care hospital worth about 98.2 billion won ordered by Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar.
It is a construction project to carry out design & build of one building near the second phase of Hamad Medical City, which is located in the center of Doha. It has been completed by Hyundai E&C.
"We think it will be meaningful to win valuable orders based on Hyundai E& C's excellent technology, performance and know-how, and trust from the ordering company even in difficult times," a Hyundai E&C official said.
