Netmarble announced on Feb. 3 that it ranked 8th in the "Top 52 Publisher Awards TPA 2021,” which are selected by App Annie based on global mobile market sales last year.
According to data released by mobile app market analysis site App Annie on Jan. 27, Netmarble ranked in the top 10 in the combined sales of App Store and Google Play last year.
It has been the only Korean company to enter the top 10 list for six consecutive years since it first made it to the top 10 in 2015. It also ranked first in sales among Korean publishers.
Netmarble explained, "The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, released in March last year, ranked third in sales at Apple's App Store in North America and ranked first in sales at App Store in France and Germany."
This year, the company is planning to release a variety of mobile games, including the launch of the large MMORPG 'Blade & Soul Revolution' in the first quarter of this year.
It is also developing 'Seven Knights Revolution' based on 'Seven Knights' IP and 'Ni No Kuni' which reinterpreted the popular game IP 'Ni No Kuni' on mobile.
Marvel Future Revolution, which debuted at the North American game show "PAX EAST 2020" in March last year, is also drawing much attention from gamers.
