否定的 文化/부정적 문화. 갈등 때문이야... 한국은 이념갈등 미국은 인종갈등.. 갈등도 신의 섭리에 들어있나? 세계의 역사는 갈등의 역사였어요. 한국은 70년 미국은 거의 200년.. 싸우다 치쳐서 부정의 문화가 생성됐지요. 무엇이든 문화가 되어버리면 그저 참고 견디며 살아야 해요. 노사갈등, 그 것도 참 어려운 문제인데 잘 정리해서 화해의 문화로 바꾸어 놓은 나라도 있어요. 동유럽이 거의 그래요. 사회주의 하는 나라는 그 반대이고요. 일본은 거의 조용해 졌고 미국은 이번의 최저임금 시급 $15를 민주당 제안이 의회에서 부결 되었지요. 중소기업 대기업이 모두 부담이 된 모양이에요. 북한의 임금제도는 어떠한지 궁금하지요. 충분히 먹고 살게 하고 있는지 모르겠어요. 부정의 문화 그리고 갈등의 시대를 지내기가 쉽지 않아요.
'거절의 문화'가 하늘을 채우고
개혁을 찾는 무리들
'저주의 외침'이 정당화되다
누구의 주장을 받아드려야 하나?
동화는 거짖말로 쓰여질가?
읽어서 상상을 이르키는 곳에서
괴짜들과 꼭두각시 — 만들어진 인간들
조오지와 바바의 헛소리
멀어저가는 위험한 모험을 하네
먼 훗날 우리가 비슷한 처지에서
'위안의 문화'로 받아 드리자
이래라 저래라 우호적인 소수의 주장을 받아들여
서로 위로하며 이해해 보자
스니치스 (Sneetches)* 가 말한 것 처럼
비슷해지기 보다 더 다른 생각을 키워요
차라리, 스스로 온전히 만족하며
희생의 걷 옷을 걸처보지요
언젠가 너도 공격수가 되어
'선행의 마음'을 벗어 던지고
생각이 껌벅이는 진실을 알게 될거야
깔아 놓은 카펫을 베껴 던져 버리고
고약한 냄새를 풍기게 되고
열세에 처해 있게 된다면
동격의 현상유지를 원하게 될거야
그래도 불공정한 욕심은 지키는 것이 좋을 거야
정상 괴도를 벋어나려는 투쟁은
권력을 쥐려는 많은 자들에게
폭동과 혼돈이 다가오고
정의와 불의 충돌, 아~~ 인류의 미래여!
그 과정에서 불화와 증오는 모들 것을 삼켜버리니
어린 아이의 순수성으로 돌아 갈수없니...
때때로 있는 그대로 받아드리고 눈 감고
화려한 동화책 이야기가 끝을 맺으면
내 마음 흔들어 놓을 걱정거리는 사라져버려요

[Poem of the month] At the crossroads of hope & despair

A "cancel culture" dominates the air,
By a woke mob who seeks reparation,
Justified only by total damnation.
Who's perception is the reception?
When childhood stories are deceptive?
Where observations meant to inspire imagination,
Are characters and puppets - a figment of one man's creation?
Reading between the lines of Curious George and Babar,
Is about adventures and travels, to lands afar;
When in the future, we'll be put in similar situations,
Of going past the comfort zone of cultures and opinions,
Instead of always being surrounded by like-minded minions.
Do this, do that — think this way, or else!
It's causing more difference than similarities,
Then the Sneetches* themselves!
Be smug in self-righteousness,
Wear the cloak of victimhood.
Someday, you'll be the offender,
Knocked off the pedestal of "doing good".
Then you'll come to see...
the truth of being hood-winked,
With a carpet pulled out from under,
Just by making a big stink.
Change is only precious if you're the underdog.
Soon you'll want to keep the status quo,
And preserve your unfair hog.
Rebellion and upheaval will surface many who'll ride the coattails,
Of fighting a fight, complaining and going off the rails.
Justice and injustice - Oh, for the future of mankind!
Meanwhile, disharmony and hatred will leave nothing left behind.
Return to childlike innocence,
Sometimes taking things literally and blind,
A tale is an escape of colorful book-ends,
No need to clutter the mind.
