Samsung Card, led by CEO Kim Dae-hwan, announced on April 5 that it has won the "CIO (Chief Information Officer) 100 Awards" organized by IDG (International Data Group), a global IT media and research organization for the first time in the domestic card industry.
The CIO 100 Awards selected 100 global companies that created high business value by utilizing IT technology as winners.
Samsung Card showed its ability in establishing AI marketing system based on real-time data. The company captured the hearts of the judges by analyzing customer data in real-time with deep learning-based AI and presenting marketing techniques that comprehensively reflect the situation, needs and tendencies of individual customers.
Samsung Card is providing "AI Curation" services to customers by utilizing the "real-time data-based AI marketing system" that was established for the first time in the industry with Samsung SDS in September last year.
"AI Curation" is a service that recommends services or benefits that best suit the needs and situations of each customer based on real-time data through Samsung Card's website, app, and chatbot.
"We plan to continuously provide customized benefits to our customers through real-time data-based AI marketing," a Samsung Card official said.
