CJ OliveNetworks' B2B messaging service platform "Mplace" launches the Rich Communication Service (RCS) page for the first time among messaging service companies to support customers' convenience.
The next-generation messaging service "RCS" is an interactive text service that allows interaction with customers such as chatting or shopping information.
RCS can interact with information messages such as credit card usage details and delivery information, as well as using shortcut buttons such as the Internet and telephone connections. It is also possible to set message format freely to suit corporate marketing purposes.
Mplace's RCS service is characterized by not only the DB-linked module and API linkage, but also the implementation of the cloud-based web service page by CJ OliveNetworks.
Corporate customers can conveniently use administrator functions such as sending RCS messages, registering and managing templates, and managing call numbers with one login without establishing a separate system.
It also automatically switches RCS messages to normal messages and resending them, if the recipient fails to receive the RCS messages. It guarantees service stability through direct interworking with three mobile telecommunication businesses.
"Based on the know-how of the mobile messaging business that we have accumulated for many years, we open a service page to make RCS messages easier for corporate customers," said Nam Seung-woo, head of CJ OliveNetworks' cloud messaging team. "We will upgrade smart shopping functions that can be paid and consulted using slide-type carousel image format and button links in the future."
