Hyundai Card announced on April 22 that it has won the main awards in three categories of the iF Design Award 2021 for its design projects "Hyundai Card App 3.0," "Hyundai Card Digital Lover," and employee ID "MyD."
Analysts say that it is unusual for a financial company that handles intangible products to win three main medals at a global design award. The awards in the three categories drew attention in that they were projects of different fields and personalities.
Hyundai Card App 3.0, which won the main prize in the Communication and Apps category, received high praise for its innovative structure and user convenience.
In August last year, Hyundai Card's app 3.0 developed with its own capabilities reorganized the core menu that users enjoy the most into "Dual Home," away from the general financial app method that listed all menus horizontally.
Hyundai Card Digital Rubber's plate design, which was released in February last year, won the main prize in the Communication Branding category. The card was designed in four kinds based on the motif of "Travelers Traveling Alone in Space."
Hyundai Card's employee ID MyD, which newly produced a uniform employee ID card, won the main prize in the Product Office category.
MyD was evaluated as an employee card that combines functionality and aesthetic sense after making its debut in 2010 based on the motif of "Hopae," an ID card of the Joseon Dynasty.
