Samsung SDS opens Digital Transformation (DT)-level diagnostic experience service

Samsung SDS is actively engaged in digital transformation (DT) of customers as a cloud-based IT solution business.

Samsung SDS is expanding its business focusing on new technology platforms such as AI/Data Analysis, IoT, Blockchain, and Cloud-based Solutions (SaaS) such as Collaboration and Business Automation.

Since last year, the company has provided services to experience these platforms and solutions in the My Trial Corner.

In addition, at the 'REAL 2020' event held last year, Samsung SDS presented its own DT promotion methodology as a solution to complete the digital transformation of customers, supporting the entire process of establishing and implementing strategies from digital level diagnosis.

Since then, many companies have made consulting requests for digital transformation from inquiries about the introduction of digital new technologies and cloud-based solutions (SaaS).

In response, Samsung SDS also introduced its digital transformation level diagnostic experience service in the My Trial section. It can diagnose DT levels in various areas such as digital strategy, work process, and IT infrastructure and receive brief reports.

Based on its own DT capacity measurement tool, corporate diagnosis can be conducted at a digital level on overall corporate management such as customer/market, strategy/leadership, technology/infrastructure, business operation, and organizational/human capabilities.

Digital maturity can be measured by business process specific to manufacturing companies. Samsung SDS will continue to add diagnostic services specialized for various industries such as finance and retail in the future.

The EX (Employee eXperience) diagnosis checks the level of experience in digital services provided by companies to executives and employees and compares them with companies in similar industries.

Agile Diagnostics supports establishing agile organizationalization strategies that can check organizational culture and work methods and respond flexibly and quickly.

IT infrastructure diagnosis diagnoses IT infrastructure configurations of companies such as servers, databases, and operating systems (OS) and analyzes vulnerabilities through intelligent diagnostic analysis engines. Through this, it is possible for companies to prevent IT infrastructure failures and raise their operational standards to the next level.

Afterwards, if detailed diagnosis is requested, Samsung SDS experts will conduct customized analysis through consultation.

"We will actively support customers' digital transformation based on DT promotion methodology and cloud-based solutions (SaaS) applied to various industrial sites," said Kang Seok-lip, head of IT Innovation Business Department of Samsung SDS.

Meanwhile, Samsung SDS is planning to introduce additional diagnostic services for the level of use of digital new technologies such as cloud, data analysis, security, and blockchain in addition to the five areas that were introduced this time.
