JB Financial Group announced on May 18 that it has established an audit office to strengthen its internal control function.
JB Financial Group established an audit office and appointed a new executive-level official as the head of the audit office and renamed the department "audit department".
The newly established audit office will increase transparency within JB Financial Group and take charge of overall coordination of internal control operations of subsidiaries.
The company will also expand its cooperative system with internal control departments and introduce Reg-Tech-based audit techniques. Song Hyeon, a former senior auditor of Gwangju Bank, was appointed as the new head of the audit department.
"With the establishment of the audit office, we are planning to strengthen the group's transparent management system by strengthening preventive functions," said an official at JB Financial Group.
