An Internet user assumed to be one of Samsung SDI's employees, posted a message saying "it is unfair" at the news that BTS RM and Jimin purchased billions of won worth of high-priced apartments in cash, sparking controversy.

On June 2, the Internet user posted a message on the anonymous application "Blind," saying, "I'm really going crazy after seeing BTS buy a expensive house."

"Honestly, they did what they wanted to do and were lucky enough to become stars," said the Internet user. "Didn't I try harder? Do you think they took the college entrance exam? Have they been in college for four years?"

He went on to say, "I can't buy a house even if I try to do things I don't want to do, but they were lucky to do what they liked and succeeded."

If someone wants to write on the anonymous app "Blind," he or she has to be certified as employees of a particular company, so it is highly likely that the Internet user is actually an incumbent employee of Samsung SDI.

Other Internet users commented on the message, such as "Don't you know how hard BTS tried to get there?" and "How did you get into Samsung with such a brain?"

On the other hand, comments such as "It is true that the income gap is too wide no matter how hard BTS tried," and "When I hear such news, suddenly I don't want to work."

Meanwhile, BTS members RM and Jimin reportedly purchased apartments in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Korea last month. RM bought an apartment with an area of 293.93 square meters for KRW 6.36 billion won, and Jimin also bought the same apartment for KRW 5.9 billion won.
