CJ OliveNetworks announced on June 21st that it will participate in the "K-Digital Vocational Training Project" conducted by Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) to foster talented people in the AI field.
GIST was selected as a K-digital vocational training operator organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor as part of the Korean version of the New Deal project. The project consists of three main types: platform, training, and credit, and CJ Olive Networks participates in the training training project.
In particular, the project designs business-oriented projects promoted by actual companies to foster talent that can be immediately put into the industry.
This training is an intermediate course that combines online and offline, and provides education to trainees with basic AI-related knowledge such as Python. The project trains artificial intelligence job skills, consisting of a total of 350 hours, including a project-based learning (PBL) process that solves business problems that combine artificial intelligence, cloud, and big data.
CJ OliveNetworks will provide a total of 80 hours of training consisting of three projects on artificial intelligence, including Face Editing's AI service and nutrient-based food recommendation system.
Through this K-digital training, the company will support field-oriented education so that young people can grow into practical experts in the digital fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud, and big data.
"For the success of the Korean version of the New Deal project, we need to foster professionals with extensive knowledge of future technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data," said Sohn Jong-soo, head of AI-Core Institute at CJ OliveNetworks. "Participants will achieve their growth through projects because they will solve problems of companies."
