Shinhan Bank announced on July 15 that it has been selected as the best bank in Korea for six consecutive years at the "Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2021" hosted by Euromoney.
Euromoney is a global financial magazine with international public confidence and selects the best bank every year by conducting a comprehensive evaluation in various categories such as finance, strategy, digital and ESG.
Shinhan Bank's share of global gains and losses exceeded 15% of total gains and losses despite difficulties at home and abroad due to COVID-19 in 2020.
Shinhan Bank also received positive reviews for its good profitability and soundness, recording the highest BIS ratio (18.47 percent) among Korean banks.
"Shinhan Bank will continue to change and innovate in all areas, including global, digital and ESG, to become a world-class bank," a Shinhan Bank official said.
