LG CNS announced on July 29 that it has acquired Google Cloud's Machine Learning Specialization certificate. LG CNS said it is the first South Korean company that has achieved the certificate in the Google Cloud system.
Google Cloud operates 17 types of specialization certification systems that are issued to companies that prove their expertise in the field of technology.
The fact that LG CNS has achieved the certificate means that it has been recognized by Google Cloud for its specialized capabilities in AI/machine learning. Machine learning refers to the technology that computers learn like humans.
In order to earn the certificate, companies need to meet Google Cloud's professional verification in 33 categories and six fields related to AI/machine learning technology.
LG CNS verified its capabilities through successful cases of establishing customer AI using Google Cloud's technology. Typical examples are LG CNS' "Global Contact Center Voicebot" and AI Foreign Language Conversation Application "AI Speech Tutor," which respond to simple and repeated inquiries from customers by AI voice-based chatbots.
LG CNS showed its expertise in AI/machine learning through systems such as tool that automatically categorizes business license images by country and emotional Analysis AI that judges whether they are positive or negative comments.
Meanwhile, seven LG CNS professional machine learning engineers were certified by Google, and some 170 of its workers were also recognized with Tensorflow Developer certificates from the company. The company also has 35 working teams dedicated to its AI business.
