KB Kookmin Bank (KB) announced on August 3 that it was selected as Korea's best custodian bank for the seventh consecutive year at the Asian Banker Financial Market Awards 2021.
The Asian Banker, established in Singapore in 1996, is a professional platform that provides research and consulting services related to the financial industry in Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East. The agency selects the best financial institution after evaluating each financial sector every year.
"KB has been recognized for its excellence in the fields such as stable systems, top-level professionals, and risk management in response to environmental changes," said The Asian Banker. "We selected KB as the best custodian as it provides differentiated services such as systemized response manuals and independent operation of alternative workplaces even in non-face-to-face situations due to COVID-19."
"KB will strengthen its status as the South Korea's top bank through preemptively responding to rapidly changing market needs," said KB.
