BROZ CEO Kim Seong-yoon... Leading social innovation by disrupting the previous form of personalization using new technology

BROZ, an AR technology solution startup, is preparing to launch an AR based hyper personalized curation service called Taste Sniper. Taste Sniper is a retail store solution service that helps customers experience an optimized space customized to their needs.

BROZ was ultimately started with the goal to create a more convenient life using AR. It has included this value in its name as well.

BROZ CEO Kim Seong-yoon says that it contains the meaning to “Break previous forms, lead a Revolution, Offer a new paradigm and establish our own Zone.” The value proposition that BROZ has is to “add more than just something new and special in our lives and present an innovation that everyone can enjoy.”

The company is planning to use AR technology along with location based services to cater to both the convenience and enjoyment of the user.

Along with an improved store experience, by offering coupon and reward products, they plan to expand their areas of business by working with the retail stores.

"BROZ started this business to provide an innovation that everyone can enjoy that goes one step further than something new and special in our lives," said CEO Kim. "Providing personalized information according to customers’ circumstances and preferences is a competitive advantage that differentiates them from existing platforms and services."

"In the case of existing services, customers had to search for and compare each information they need," added CEO Kim. "However, Taste Sniper selects and provides information that customers really need, so it is convenient and useful."

"As information is provided based on AR technology, customers can obtain reliable information that reflects reality the closest, and it is possible to prevent the disadvantage of obtaining false information through false or exaggerated advertisements," continued CEO Kim.

"Our goal is to launch within this year and expand to Seoul within 3 years and nation-wide within 5 years," said CEO Kim. "Currently, we are targeting restaurants, but in the future, the company will expand to areas where peoply can enjoy such as coffee shops, woodworking shops, and flea markets to provide AR-based new lifestyles and personalized curation services."

Meanwhile, BROZ was selected for the "2021 Y&Navigator 2nd Batch" accelerator program hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, and operated by Y&Archer. Through this program, BROZ received support such as customized mentorship, startup education and networking, investment referrals, and Y&LAB (market validation test).
