“Making the daily life of people a little bit more special, we will make a new world where electronic products and mobile apps meet.”

LK ARTWORK started its promising march forward with this aspiration.

LK ARTWORK is an IT startup that develops electronics devices and mobile apps that will make people’s daily lives a little bit more special, and wishes that their produced products will be viewed by people as a piece of art.

The goal of the company is to grow to become a company where just hearing the name of the company will be considered a landmark of Korea.

“Currently our main product is ‘Signor’ a starlight world map where you can leave your footprints,” LK ARTWORK CEO Lim Sung-hwan. “It is a product that can provide a new experience to people who like to travel and decorate their house. It is an ICT mood lamp that can be easily controlled through a smartphone that can help create a novel scene in your everyday life.”

Along with the world map mood lamp ‘Signor’ that sentimentally holds your travel memories, by providing a travel activity recording app that allows you to express your travel activity with a single photo, they are manufacturing a special interior decoration product that can store your travel footprints.

By storing the user’s activity data, they organize it so it is easy to see everything on your smartphone, and they are creating profit by producing and selling accurate commercial district analysis and trend reports from analyzing location based data.

“By creating a map in a style never seen anywhere else, we were able to create a map with the ‘Signor’ feel, and it has the advantage of being able to decorate my own space with my travel footprints,” CEO Lim said.

The combination of travel footprints and interior decoration is strong enough to create demand among consumers who are craving traveling in this COVID-19 era.

Along with consumers who have a desire to save their personal memories, they are expecting to expand their target market by producing specialty items for the local government or tourist companies that need to attract tourists.

“We plan to promote the company in the market by developing a series of various products and mobile application services,” said CEO Lim.

“We will put in maximum effort to pioneering new markets, regardless of being local or global, so that you can meet our products and services in a variety of channels,” he said. “By making a company that can actively support and fulfill the team member’s amazing dreams and goals, we will continue to try to make everyone’s daily lives a little bit more special.”

Last June, LK ARTWORK was recognized as a promising startup and was selected for the ‘2021 Y&Navigator 2nd Batch’ accelerator program hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, and operated by Y&Archer. Through this program, LK ARTWORK received support such as customized mentorship, startup education and networking, investment referrals, and Y&LAB (market validation test).
