“We freshly package the healthiness of Jeju island’s blue sea and the blessed natural environment.”

Jeju F&C provides healthy local primary products to its customers by using a bio-renovation extraction method for agricultural products from Jeju island’s fresh agricultural produce and microorganisms extracted from its traditional fermented foods.

It is growing to be a creative company that provides a local f/b solution for Jeju’s local primary and processed products.

“We provide the most delicious primary product for each month, along with over 10 types of processed products using that primary product such as jams, desserts and juice,” Jeju F&C CEO Kim Yoon-hee. “I wanted to promote K-food products that represent our country and the desire to start a brand from Jeju island motivated me to start Jeju F&C.”

Jeju F&C’s main technology, bio-renovation, has positive effects on anti-inflammation, and anti-aging.

It attracts customers with a wide variety of food products that not only include things like carrot jam, cake, and yogurt, but also yuzo tarts, and boneless marinated mackerel.

Being able to benefit from the taste, beauty, and health of food from clean Jeju, the attention of their products have been increasing.

Looking at the market, it has entered famous market brands such as ‘GS SHOP’, ‘Olive Young’, ‘Market Kurly’, ‘Our Home’, ‘Shinsaegae’.

Starting as a brand that represents Jeju, it is planning to use Jeju’s regional products to provide a subscription service, and collaborations with various companies.

For over 15 years in the f/b industry, CEO Kim has been working as a platform solution maker providing a full spectrum of services from within the full process of planning, branding, manufacturing, distribution for companies and brands.

She has accumulated experience as a trend player making trends in the industry by creating relationships from strategic collaborations with nationwide food related factories, and all distribution players, as well as top IP brands.

“Under the keyword ‘local’ as the overall premise, we are positioning ourselves within the keyword ‘local representative’ and ‘country representative’, and after some physical investment, we are certain we can become number one,” CEO Kim said.

“with the goal of reinterpreting the primary product market and upgrading the local processed products, we are step by step accumulating work in forms of B2B and B2C,” she added. “We will become the number one company for local food culture and lifestyle.”

Last June, Jeju F&C was recognized as a promising startup and was selected for the ‘2021 Y&Navigator 2nd Batch’ accelerator program hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, and operated by Y&Archer. Through this program, it received support such as customized mentorship, startup education and networking, investment referrals, and Y&LAB (market validation test).
