Alexander Semeyuta is turning in to a regular at the Korea Electronic Exhibition. This is his fourth year in a row being at the show. Apart from one of his colleagues, how is visiting the show for the third time, the other members of the contingent of buyers from Russia are experiencing KES for the first time. Andrey Dvoynyshev and Aatoliy Shestak from Vetrastar said their most striking impression at this early stage in the event has been the opening ceremony, featuring tap dance routine and the pop sensation “Secret”. So impressed they were with these performers that they couldn’t stop talking these acts and in particular how stunningly beautiful the women of 'Secret,' are. Members of the group said that they have attended trade exhibitions in mainland China and Hong Kong and have never seen an opening ceremony where ‘A’ list celebrities performed for the gathering. Their visit to the KES has only just begun, but they said that the opening definitely distinguishes KES, when compared to the other exhibition events that they have attended.

Russian buyers were here to buy a variety of products, but most of them agreed on their interest in semi-conductors, electrical components, and cellular-phones.  They are definitely here to find Korean companies to cooperate with, and accomplish a trade, and they were confident that they will find companies/products they would like, and hope to cooperate with them. There were however, some minor inconveniences.

For the reason that these Russian buyers are not familiar with English, they were grateful that aid in communicating with the companies was available in the form of translators to help out.  The language barrier issue is always present at international events, but with each passing year the situation gets better, allowing buyers to conduct business with confidence, Mr. Semeyuta, the veteran of the KES added.

One suggestion that the group conveyed was the idea that companies offering products of a like kind, such as semiconductors is collocated to ease the comparison shopping experience. They thought that the placement of the companies organized in this way might facilitate greater sales. Placement of the companies organized categorically might speed the buyers’ review of a greater volume of the available product, but moving around the entire venue did give them an opportunity to find some gems that they might have otherwise missed.

Other than those observations, they were very satisfied with the exhibition. They said they will definitely visit again next year, due to the friendliness of the people at KES compared to the other exhibitions, and for another awesome opening ceremony.

In conclusion, they believe that Korea IT is one of the best, and they were able to find many companies they would like to cooperate with. They said they will definitely come to the exhibition next year as well.
