The Yonsei University Campustown Center is running the “Global IR Project” to help startups with innovative ideas go global.

Focusing on startups who have advanced technology and services but are struggling due to the lack of information, it hosts an event called “A-STREAM” which provides its participants with investment feedback from foreign investors.

The program also aids successful foreign market entry by networking with foreign VCs and related institutions from every continent.

Everyone’s Protein CEO Kim Da-sun

Everyone’s Protein developed a sous vide pulled pork protein product for customers who are tired of chicken breasts. It uses the ham from the hind leg, which has the most protein, and uses a sous vide cooking method for a soft and modern taste while minimizing nutritional loss.

It also developed its own low sugar and low calorie barbeque sauce so the pork can be enjoyed without worrying about calories.

Currently the product is being reviewed on Wadiz to sell online and they are collaborating with various online protein markets.

“We recommend high protein diets and weight loss diets optimized to the consumer based on health data,” said CEO Kim Da-sun. “We are planning to expand our offline business model to sell our product to gym members and also collect health data.”

Moment Corporation developed a mobile app to help achieve a better future in a stressful world through meditation, yoga, and writing.

It uses oriental methods such as oriental mediation sessions, chakra yoga, yoga nidra to help take care of the mind. It was created with meditators and yoga instructors who actually practiced it in India.

It starts with the easiest way to approach meditation and yoga, which is spacing out. When you space out with a blank mind you can start to experience meditation where you face your own emotions.

Meditation and yoga content has the advantage of being a non-verbal experience. In other words, it can expand past Korea and to a global audience.

“Beyond providing content, our goal is to expand to a O2O service that provides a mindfulness trip to Korea to our app users”, said CEO Hong Il-ho. “We want to research and offer every method there is to achieve a higher level of inner peace.”

Enkor With Us CEO Oh Jeong-hun

Enkor With Us, provides a housing and community platform  for foreigners.

It provides housing, quarantine, community, and other services under the mission statement, “Making a Korea that foreigners want to live in.”

Enkor With Us was able to create opportunity during a crisis by launching a quarantine service for the Covid era.

Through this service they were able to create partnerships with the Ministry of Education, Seoul city, and several universities.

It also received this year’s Best Startup Audition award from the Seoul Tourism Organization and grand prize from the G-Valley Startup Contest.

Enkor With Us is planning to generate traffic by launching its housing platform and then targeting international students.

Currently the lack of a housing service for foreigners is not a problem only in Korea. Most foreign cities have a large number of international students but most of them find long term housing through online communities.

“A housing and community platform for foreigners and international students can be copy and pasted. This means it has enough potential for foreign markets as well,” said CEO Oh Jeong-hun. “We want to grow into a platform for lodging, recruiting, and tourism content.”
