In the Robot IT department at the Korea Electronics Grand fair, Robogen Co. that introduced a cleaning and lining robot for superannuated drainpipes.
The superannuated drainpipe cleaning robot (Ultra Hogh-Pressure Water-jet Cleaning:Ecowin-RC)uses high-pressure water-jet to remove scales and corroded layers and has a efficient surface treatments for linings. Also the pressure of the water-jet is adjustable according to the level of the superannuated pipe and prevents pipe damages by controlling revolutions per minute.
The superannuated drainpipe lining robot (Rotating nozzle, spin cast system/Ecowin-RL) sprays the film compounds equally within the drainpipe. Ecowin-RL controls the speed of the nozzle and adjusts the thickness. These procedures can be monitored on real-time bases and can be remotely controlled, or high-quality lining construction, quality check is also possible.
In addition, the Smart Inpipe Mapping System/Ecowin-Sims was introduced. This system enables to detect the exact location and the routes of the pipe, achieving a 3rd-dimension geographical location data. Using this data will bring an accurate 3D GIS data.
