CJ OliveNetworks, a South Korean IT solution provider, announced on Dec. 13 that it won an order for the global messaging service (GMS) business of Yanolja, a South Korean leisure platform.

CJ OliveNetworks has been providing stable services to Yanolja for many years, including corporate messages such as SMS, LMS, and MMS, and Kakao messages, since 2018.

This order is the first achievement of entering the global messaging market following the domestic business.

Yanolja is actively developing and investing in technology to strengthen its leadership in the global hospitality market through its affiliate Yanolja Cloud. In particular, it is providing cloud-based integrated automation solutions to 37,000 customers in about 170 countries around the world.

CJ OliveNetworks plans to link global companies with message services and actively support domestic companies in entering overseas markets through customized services.

The company linked the two-way global messaging system using the infrastructure of Infobip, a global communication company in order to provide a service that can manage messages in an integrated manner regardless of the communication network and message standards of each country.

First of all, it supports message service for two-factor authentication for account management of Yanolja global integrated members.

CJ OliveNetworks has completed preparations as a cloud-based communication platform operator by providing an API (Application Programming Interface) exclusive service so that users can use global message services easily and conveniently without installing a separate program.

The company plans to link the global messaging service with Yanolja Cloud Solution to provide the service to 15 major overseas Yanolja bases by the end of the year, and continue to expand the application countries in the future.

“CJ OliveNetworks will continue to support domestic companies in expanding their overseas business through customer-tailored global messaging services," said Nam Seung-woo, head of CJ OliveNetworks' Cloud Messaging Team. "The company will expand its business as a Cross Marketing Platform operator that creates effective marketing results through data and API-based platforms as well as communication channels.”
