The company will unveil a "transparent smart window" that can be used for video conferencing, presentations, and entertainment while viewing a panoramic view by applying transparent OLED to an exterior window for office use.
It is also unveiling a "transparent shelf", a home screen concept for interiors, in which two transparent OLEDs are connected vertically for home use.
Currently, LG Display is the sole supplier of large transparent OLEDs around the world. In 2019, 55-inch transparent OLED with 40% transparency was commercialized and applied to shopping malls, museums, and subways.
