Daewoong Pharmaceutical announced on January 3 that it started the ‘Daewoong Global Drug Delivery System (DDS) Training Program’ with 10 master’s and doctoral students from the University of Indonesia (UI) and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
Daewoong Pharmaceutical will be able to contribute to fostering an industrial force with core competencies in formulation technology for the global pharmaceutical industry by working with the best talents in Indonesia.
10 Indonesian master's and doctoral students will be divided into bio and chemical fields at the Daewoong Pharmaceutical R&D Center in Yongin until April, and will be put into the actual drug formulation technology development process to gain practical experience.
During the practical period, students will receive direct mentoring from the Daewoong Pharmaceutical researchers and will be given a wide range of professional learning opportunities, such as special lectures by the nation's best experts in advanced pharmaceutical technology and drug development every month, and GMP practice in pharmaceutical factories.
In addition, talented people who received excellent evaluations during the training period will be supported for employment in domestic graduate schools and research institutes and follow-up research after the program ends.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical's new product center director Kim Kwan-young said, "Daewoong Pharmaceutical will continue to work with global talents to develop new drugs that contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of mankind."
