Genesis BBQ, the largest chicken franchise in S. Korea, was recently introduced as K-chicken, a favorite among locals along with the Korean wave, at "FOX 35 Orlando" in Florida on FOX News, a US broadcaster.
Fox News, broadcast all over Florida, USA, recently introduced Korean chicken at BBQ East Colonial as the most wanted Korean food.
Recently, as the popularity of K-food is increasing due to the global Hallyu craze, the popularity of K-chicken in the United States is also increasing.
In July of last year, BBQ was ranked as the 5th fastest-growing restaurant brand in the United States by Nation's Restaurant News, a global food service magazine.
Meanwhile, BBQ is currently operating in 18 states, including major regions in the United States such as New York, New Jersey, California, Texas, and Hawaii.
A BBQ official said, "BBQ is K-Food's representative global brand, and it will strive to achieve its goal of opening 50,000 franchises worldwide by 2025."
