At MWC 2022, KT plans to open an exhibition hall under the theme of "DIGICO KT, the engine of digital innovation" to showcase the technology and know-how it has accumulated in the DX field.

KT will participate in Industry City, a joint pavilion of GSMA that hosts MWC, along with global companies such as Verizon and Accenture.

In line with the theme of MWC 2022, “Connectivity Unleashed,” KT organized the exhibition hall into three zones: AI, Robot, and KT Group & Partner.

As the only GSMA board member in Korea, KT plans to participate in board meetings at this MWC to discuss the role of ICT in the COVID-19 pandemic with global ICT companies.

In the AI Zone, you can meet the AI Contact Center (AICC), which was launched in Korea in the second half of last year and is attracting attention.

KT AICC was completed based on AI active complex conversation technology that understands the flow of conversation and analyzes and communicates the intention of the speaker, and the know-how of operating the best customer center in Korea.

The AI customer center has already been applied not only to KT but also to financial and insurance services, and is receiving favorable reviews from users as it is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

KT's Intelligent Traffic Infrastructure DX Solution Traffic Digital Twin is a solution that optimizes intelligent video control and traffic flow based on Twin/AI.

This solution detects all objects on the road, such as vehicles and pedestrians, only with CCTV, analyzes unexpected situations such as accidents or illegal U-turns, and provides necessary traffic information.

Since 2018, KT has received orders for C-ITS and ITS projects in 8 cities, including Jeju, Ulsan, Daejeon, and Bucheon, and has completed or is in the process of building it.

The hybrid 5G MEC platform analyzes CCTV images based on mobile edge computing and vision AI technology.

It recognizes facial expressions, gestures, and disaster situations to help respond quickly to emergencies.

The company will also unveil technology to improve network quality with AI. "Dr. WAIS," the world's first AI-based 5G operation solution, allows AI to check the status of 5G base stations on its own to check for quality abnormalities and quickly identify the cause of failure.

In the Robot Zone, AI quarantine robots necessary in the era of COVID-19 are introduced.

The AI quarantine robot, which KT will unveil for the first time through MWC 2022, supports the 24/7 quarantine system unattended at multi-use facilities and public facilities.

While moving, the robot purifies the air and sterilizes airborne viruses and bacteria by plasma method, and sterilizes the floor by irradiating UVC LED lamps.
