Its partnership with InMed Prognostics, an India based neuro diagnostic company for Golf-specific reporting proves that the power of AI is not only restricted to medical but also can be applied in the Sports Arena.
The golf-specific MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) based solution powered by PMX will be showcased in worldwide popular event “The Poona Club Golf League-PGL” along with InMed Prognostics during 4th-6th March’22 in Pune, India. The solution aims to accelerate monitoring, screening, enhancing the individual sports-performance, and preventing injury.
The sports-specific reporting will be a 3D-body view, which will enable coaches and trainers to spot slice level information of tissues like– Muscle, Subcutaneous Adipose Tissue (SAT), Intramuscular Adipose Tissue (IMAT), Visceral Adipose Tissue (VAT), Bones and Organs and SAT:VAT Ratio. Additionally, with each golf-specific screening test, the report showcases the active body sites that can be compartmentalized into- left/right, upper, lower and abdomen regions. Currently, this pilot-solution has been applied to cricket and golf with future vision of developing various sports-specific reports.
