On April 7, Samsung Electronics announced its preliminary earnings results for the first quarter of 2022 with sales of KRW 77 trillion and operating profit of KRW 14.1 trillion.
In the first quarter, sales and operating profit increased by 0.56% and 1.66% compared to the previous quarter, while sales and operating profit increased by 17.76% and 50.32% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, in order to strengthen communication with investors and enhance understanding, Samsung Electronics plans to respond to issues of high interest to shareholders during the earnings announcement conference call by receiving inquiries about the management status in advance.
