Korean Government promoted a 'World Best Software (WBS)' project for creating the world's best software. This past July, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy announced seven categories of challenge projects to propel the project from this year to the next.
The development of software focuses on fusion with fields of manufacturing such as, the airline, mobile, and services industries, including medical care and transportation.
The Ministry of Knowledge Economy also announced the selected businesses or best consortiums including AhnLab, INFINITT Healthcare, Infraware, KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries), KSCC (Korea Smart Card Co., Ltd), and others.
The chosen businesses will support the core software in the domestic industry and package software for the overseas market.
