SK networks announced today that its SpeedMate has signed an MOU for future car-related industry-university cooperation with Kookje University.
According to the agreement, SpeedMate and Kookje University plan to establish a practical manpower nurturing system according to the spread of future cars, and operate a maintenance training program and maintenance training system.
To this end, Speedmate decided to share actual maintenance cases that occurred at about 630 franchisees nationwide and to support the development of practical talent training curriculum.
The two organizations will cooperate to utilize Kookje University's on-campus maintenance education infrastructure to enable SpeedMate mechanics to receive related training from Kookje University's Faculty of Future Vehicles.
Meanwhile, the government announced last year that it would supply 7.85 million eco-friendly vehicles by 2030 and expand the number of electric and hydrogen vehicle repair stations to 3,300 by 2025.
SpeedMate plans to proactively respond to government policy and market changes by securing future car maintenance manpower and technology.
