LG Electronics is supplying LG CLOi robots to medical institutions, expanding the robot market for medical services.
LG Electronics announced today that it has recently supplied LG CLOi GuideBot to the National Medical Foundation's Comprehensive Examination Center in Yeouido, Seoul.
Gangdong Sacred Heart Hospital in Seoul supplied LG CLOi subbots, and LG CLOi UV-C bots were supplied to hospitals in Yongin.
Starting with the supply of LG CLOi subbots to Seoul National University Hospital in 2020, LG Electronics has continued to supply LG CLOi robots to various medical institutions such as the Leewon Medical Foundation, National Cancer Center, and a number of private hospitals.
LG CLOi GuideBot provides robotic medical services such as facility location guidance for patients and visitors, medical assistance such as delivery of medical supplies, and hygiene management through non-face-to-face quarantine.
The robot informs patients and caregivers of hospital facilities and usage information in an easy-to-understand manner through a touch screen screen and voice guidance.
In addition, multilingual information such as English, Chinese, and Japanese is provided for foreign visitors.
The LG CLOi subbot safely delivers blood samples and medicines to destinations based on autonomous driving and obstacle avoidance technology.
The robot can move on its own in an elevator in a hospital or move through an automatic door, enabling fast and accurate movement.
Robot management is also convenient. The operator remotely monitors the status of the robot in real time through the LG CLOi Cloud Station and manages the usage history and operation schedule.
