LG Display has unveiled many innovative new concept OLED solutions for everyday spaces such as offices and homes.

LG Display announced that it would hold the "Open Innovation Forum" by inviting major customers in Las Vegas, USA for three days from June 9th.

It is an event to actively foster market-creating businesses that will drive future growth through strategic collaboration with heterogeneous industries.

At this event, LG Display will introduce new concept transparent OLED solutions in collaboration with domestic and foreign customers and promising startups for the first time.

First of all, LG Display will unveil a transparent OLED partition for office use in collaboration with Gensler, the world's largest architectural design company.

This product can be used for video conferences and presentations without a separate TV or monitor by applying a transparent OLED to the partition used only for space separation. Normally, the upper part of the partition is transparent like glass, which further enhances space utilization.

The transparent OLED solution for conference rooms is a product that can use the wall itself as a display by embedding a transparent OLED in the glass wall of the conference room.

"Transparent wall skin" is a principle of adding a layer of glass with a built-in transparent OLED to the wall, and transparent OLED can be applied while maintaining the existing interior.

"Transparent Gallery" independently developed by LG Display is a product that implements a high-sensitivity touch function on a transparent OLED.

It can be used as an Internet of Things (IoT) wall pad or a gallery that plays media content by combining it with a wall or furniture in an office space, commercial facility, or home.

A new solution combining OLED and art will also be introduced. "Object Showcase" for digital art maximizes three-dimensionality and hologram effect by combining general OLED on the back of transparent OLED.

"Art Canvas" is a digital canvas that utilizes the characteristics of OLED, which produces clear picture quality and perfect black by emitting light by the pixels themselves, and expresses the color intended by the original artist without distortion.

In addition, flexible OLED concept products such as “Virtual Ride,” which combines exercise equipment with a large OLED screen, and “Media Chair,” which combines a recliner sofa with a curved OLED, as well as transparent OLED solutions for mobility and shopping malls, which were well received at CES 2022 earlier this year. exhibit together.
