KCC participated in the world's largest shipping exhibition "POSIDONIA 2022" held in Athens, Greece from June 6th to 10th and showed ship paint.
POSIDONIA is the world's largest exhibition of ships and related equipment, held biennially since 1978.
In this exhibition, KCC focused on introducing a new lineup of antifouling paints, which are continuously increasing their market share, and product lines of antirust paints and topcoats.
The strategy is to secure new customers by promptly responding to changes in the environment of the shipping market and carrying out public relations activities emphasizing technological superiority.
KCC's technological prowess, such as "EgisELF Series" and "EgisPacific (HS)," were introduced, as well as ship condition management programs through Fouling Management System (FMS).
"EgisELF Series" and "EgisPacific(HS)" do not contain organic tin-based antifouling agents, so they minimize marine environmental pollution, and effectively prevent marine animals and plants from attaching to the hull, thereby improving the fuel efficiency of ships.
In addition, a rust-preventive paint that reduces environmental pollution by not using solvents, and has excellent rust-preventive properties and seawater resistance, prevents rust from rusting in the marine environment and protects the hull of the ship.
A KCC official said, "We plan to expand publicity and promotion activities so that customers around the world can have more access to KCC's excellent products."
