Netmarble announced today that its subsidiary MARBLEX has exhibited the blockchain-based fighting game "The King of Fighters Arena" at the Tokyo Game Show 022 (TGS 2022).
The King of Fighters Arena is the second collaboration between Netmarble and SNK in Japan. The game is being developed by Netmarble Neo, which has accumulated various global know-how through the service of the previous "King of Fighter All-Star".
In this game with a blockchain system such as character NFT and game tokens, you can freely select one of the characters from The King of Fighters Arena series and participate in real-time PvP that you can enjoy with simple controls.
At TGS 2022, MARBLEX introduced the "King of Fighters Arena," which enables real-time one-on-one battles, to users, and revealed the core fun elements and token economy design pursued by the game through a separate presentation session.
“We are promoting a universal blockchain-based fighting game that not only fans of the existing The King of Fighters series, but also NFT holders and crypto users can participate," said a MARBLEX official. "We hope that you will pay a lot of attention to The King of Fighters Arena, which is scheduled to be launched globally in the second half of this year.”
