Hanwha E&C announced today that it has developed an air conditioning system that does not require a separate outdoor unit space.
The company said that it will develop an "outdoor unit integrated all-in-one air conditioner system" and apply it to FORENA residential products.
The development of this system started in October 2020, and the patent was registered in April this year.
Recently, a mock-up generation was built at the site of the Knowledge Industry Center in Gwanggyo Sanghyeon-gu, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea and the performance test was completed.
This product can perform cooling, ventilation, air cleaning and dehumidification functions through one equipment and duct.
In the case of a small house where there is no space to install an outdoor unit or where it is narrow, the space can be used efficiently.
In addition, it has a function of simultaneously operating ventilation during cooling operation, so the system detects carbon dioxide and fine dust during cooling, automatically cleans the room and returns to cooling mode.
Meanwhile, after launching the residential brand FORENA in 2019, Hanwha E&C has launched various Forena products and systems such as Forena safety doors, underground parking lot air cleaning systems, and Forena Edge Look to improve the residential environment.
